Ever since the summer, when dad stumbled upon the Jimmy Fallon/Roots version of "Call Me Maybe," he's loved that song. Also, whenever the phrase "call me" or the word "maybe" has come up in conversation, that song immediately pops into my head. During the week of the 4th, my father had fallen asleep with the TV on and woken up to something odd. It doesn't help that I stayed up to watch Jimmy Fallon vs. Michelle Obama last night. But how could I not? Jimmy versus the First Lady in a fitness challenge? And he wore spandex? Come on.

Except...yeah, extra ditzy today. I need a nap.

Dad started patching last night, but it was late enough that the natural light was poor and he couldn't see that well. My task today is to scrape off any nubbies on the walls as well as to clean them more thoroughly. My Sociology professor likes to make us think and break us out of our norms. Little did I know that part of how he'd get us thinking today would be to show us the movie Sicko by Michael Moore.
